O Come Let Us Adore Him...

Every Christmas 8 of us get together for a night of card making.  Each of us design a Christmas card and prepare kits for the other 7 to do.  At the end of the night we each have 8 beautiful cards to take home and the evening is full of laughs and good times.  This is the card I designed last Christmas.

The card is 6" x 6" and is made from SU - Cherry Cobbler, love this colour!  The holly and pine paper is K&Company - Glad Tidings.  The smaller square measures 5" x 5" and is also a layer of Cherry Cobbler and the designer paper.  I added red satin ribbon around this layer then popped it up on the center of the larger card.

Next I cut a pendant using Spellbinders - Fleur De Lis and copper metallic cardstock.  This was glued to the card.  The stamp is Cornish Heritage Farms - We Three Kings, I like its worn, textured look.  I stamped it on SU - Very Vanilla and then cut it out with a Spellbinders - Labels Twenty.  Over this I put a layer of Scor tape which is very sticky and spread Glitter Ritz - Transparent Micro Fine Glitter - Cool Highlights over it.  It's hard to tell from the picture, but the Very Vanilla cut out is very glittery.  A few red half pearls finished the front of the card.

This is the inside of the card.  The verse was printed on Very Vanilla paper using my computer and then cut out using Spellbinders - Labels Twenty.

Thanks for looking :)
