Morning In The Orient!

This card was just picked as one of the favourites of the week on Splitcoaststampers - so exciting!!!  June 10/12

As soon as I saw this paper, I knew this card had to be made, lol.

This is a 6" x 6" card made from SU Very Vanilla, and a layer of SU Chocolate Chip.  The desinger paper is from Authentique - Carefree.  In the background there is a band of Chocolate Chip punched with Su - Scallop Trim Border.  The antique lace is from my collection.

The base behind the bird was cut using Spellbinders - Labels Twenty Three from paper by Recollections - Gemstones.  This paper is the same colour as SU Very Vanilla but it has a soft pretty shimmer.  The flowers were cut using Spellbinders - Rose Creations and they were cut from paper in Authentique - Carefree.  I shaped them on a soft mouse pad before they were layered together.  An off white half pearl was added to the centers.  The leaves were also cut from Recollections - Gemstones using Spellbinders - Foliage and shaped on a soft mouse pad.

Flourishes were added using Cheery Lynn - Fanciful Flourish, Die-namics - Leafy Flourish, and Memory Box - Woodland Branch.  The blue bird is from K&Company - Bird & Butterfly Layered Accents :)
